Only those who score 85 points or above (out of 100 points) in the self-assessment can apply; In comparison with the Beijing Smart Campus Construction Standards for Colleges and Universities (Trial), colleges and universities have reached relevant standards in nine aspects, including infrastructure, smart teaching, scientific research and innovation, management services, data governance, and digital literacy

The release of the "Beijing Smart Campus Construction Standards for Primary and Secondary Schools (Trial)" and "Beijing Smart Campus Construction Standards for Higher Education Institutions (Trial)" clarifies that Beijing will achieve 85% of primary and secondary schools meeting the requirements for smart campus construction within three to five years, and select 100 new smart campus demonstration schools.

Beijing will innovate the classroom environment in schools, accelerate the construction of new classrooms empowered by technology, and improve the level of technology empowerment in ordinary and specialized classrooms.
